Profile Pitfalls to Avoid, Especially if a Man

Online dating is all about the profile.  Success is often dependent in the description and things that a person includes.

There are several profile pitfalls that can be avoided and increase the chances of success in the online world.  Avoiding these pitfalls are essential for online success, especially if you’re a man.

No picture in your profile?  This is one of the biggest red flags in the online dating world.  Research has proven that anyone without a picture is hiding something.  Chances are if its a man, they are either married or in a committed relationship.  If its a woman, they are concerned about their physical appearance.  A picture in a profile increases success rates online by as much as 250 percent!

Looking for `just friends`.  This is a major pitfall because it will send up warning signs to those reading the profile.  It may indicate that the person is not serious about a relationship or they have no desire to be in a committed relationship.  For a guy, this is something that will detract from women who are serious about finding their true love online.

Missing vital stats.  When people `forget`to fill out their vital stats such as height, weight and body type, it means that there is generally something to hide.

Long delays between emails.  This is a definite sign that the person you`re communicating with isn`t that interested.  The chances of success in the online dating world greatly decrease in this situation.  It usually means your the fifth or sixth choice in the list of potential dates.

Avoiding this simple pitfalls can make your online dating experience that much more successful.

I guess being straightforward and casual works the best in online dating. Well, there’s really not much ice to break anymore so by just being friendly and light, surely, you’ll get someone’s attention.
