Wedding Season is in the Air – Stress is on the Rise

Spring has arrived and wedding season is in the air.  Brides to be are busy finalizing their plans, checking guest lists and ensuring that things will go smooth on that special day.  Each detail is checked and rechecked time and time again as they strive for the “perfect” wedding.

It is fine to plan and to have every detail in place, however both the bride-to-be and the groom-to-be have to realize that things will go wrong as the special day approaches.  Even when the wedding day arrives, things will still go wrong.  It is how the bride and groom react that makes the difference.

Yes, it is nice to have the “perfect” wedding.  Panicking over the little things that pop up takes away from the special day and leads to unnecessary stress.  Step back and realize that there are people around you, including the maid of honour and the best man who will deal with things for you.  Relax and enjoy the day, take in the memories and share the special day with your friends and family.

Stress is part of getting married, but why increase stress levels by worrying about things that you have no control over.  Things will work out, they have a way of working out.

Yes, wedding season is in the air.  Enjoy the ride, have fun and dump the stress.  Remember this is your special day.
