An Inexpensive Date

With the recession hitting many households, going out for a fancy dinner or to the theatre may not be an option for those looking at dating.  The recession doesn’t have to limit what you can do on a date.

The tip to an inexpensive date is creativity.  It doesn’t have to involve an expensive dinner, a movie or tickets to the latest and greatest concert.  Imagine a stroll along a sandy beach, a nice bottle of wine, and some time to just sit and talk.  Its quiet, romantic and gives both you and your date an opportunity to get to know one another.  It is much more intimate and can be done for under $20.

Sure, it may seem “cheap”, but that’s just a misnomer.  A quiet and romantic setting such as a beach, or a park can be fun.  Pick a poem to read, a story to discuss or maybe just toss a frisbee around.  Sit near a playground and watch some children play.

These are the types of environments that will give you a better understanding of the person you are spending some time with.  Then when the opportunity presents itself, stealing a little kiss or holding hands may be just the thing to spark interest in bigger things in the future.  Intimate settings are the best to learn about the other person and can establish a great foundation for the future.
