Keeping a Relationship Exciting

By examining the early years of a relationship, couples can find what excites them and attempt to recapture the exciting times in their relationship.

Doing something out of the ordinary may also add some spice and excitement back in the relationship. Living on the edge again as a couple may rekindle the spark and lead to some exciting times.

Couples are encouraged to plan a date around a theme, or to do something that is out of the ordinary for their lives. Doing something perceived as dangerous or naughty such as skydiving or watching an erotic video may place a smile on your partners face and stir the emotions.

Seize opportunities that present themselves such as starting a pillow fight while in bed, having a water fight while doing the dishes or simply surprising your partner by showing up at work with lunch.

The current rate of divorce shows us that relationships fail. There are many reasons for this happening, but if an effort is made to keep the relationship fresh and exciting, having it fail for lack of excitement is no excuse. Whether dating or married, your relationship can thrive for years when it is filled with excitement.

Build memories that will last a lifetime. Keep the relationship going by doing things that will allow you to have fun again.
